How Airdelay works flight compensation claim process

How Airdelay works in 4 simple steps

The Airdelay process is designed to feel simple, even when passenger-rights rules are complicated. You provide the flight details, we review the key information, and you can follow the claim after submission.

1

Check your flight

Start with your route, airline, flight date, and what happened: delay, cancellation, denied boarding, or missed connection.

2

Add key details

Share passenger details, booking reference, disruption information, and the basic documents you currently have.

3

Claim review

Airdelay reviews the information and may contact you through the secure claim flow if something important is missing or unclear.

4

Track updates

Account users can track claims in their dashboard. Guests can use the public claim status checker with their claim details.

Important: Airdelay does not guarantee compensation. A claim may depend on the flight route, final arrival delay, cancellation notice, disruption reason, documents, and whether the airline was responsible.

What you need before starting

You can start your claim even if you do not have every document ready. However, having the main flight details nearby can make the process faster and cleaner.

  • Flight details: flight number, airline, travel date, departure airport, and arrival airport.
  • Disruption details: whether the flight was delayed, cancelled, denied boarding, or caused a missed connection.
  • Booking information: booking reference or PNR, ticket number if available, and ticket confirmation.
  • Documents: boarding pass, airline messages, passport or national ID, and any proof of what happened.
