Airdelay fees and how our service works
Before you submit a claim, you should know what Airdelay charges, when the fee applies, how payment works, and what our current airline-claim service does — and does not — include.
What does Airdelay charge?
The fee is tied to a successful monetary result, not to starting a claim.
If compensation is obtained in connection with your claim, Airdelay’s service fee is 25% of that compensation amount, including VAT.
You do not pay our success fee when you submit a claim. If no compensation is obtained, the 25% Airdelay service fee is not charged for that claim.
What would I receive from €600?
A simple example makes the percentage easier to understand.
Example: the airline pays €600 in compensation
This example assumes €600 of monetary compensation is obtained. Actual transfer-related charges, if they arise when your share is paid, are separate from the 25% fee.
What does our current service include?
Airdelay is focused on practical airline claim handling.
- Eligibility review: reviewing flight details to decide whether a claim appears suitable for our service.
- Claim preparation: preparing claim materials, authorizations, payment requests and supporting documents where needed.
- Airline submission and communication: submitting the claim and communicating with the airline or relevant claim-handling party.
- Response and status handling: reviewing airline responses and keeping the claim record updated.
- Payment handling: where authorized, receiving compensation, applying the agreed fee and applicable actual transfer charges, then transferring the remaining balance.
Airdelay is not a law firm. Our current standard service does not include court representation, litigation services, legal advice, or legal representation before courts, regulators, enforcement bodies or official authorities. Any different arrangement would need to be separately agreed in writing.
How does payment work?
If Airdelay receives the compensation
We may deduct the 25% success fee, including VAT, and applicable actual transfer-related charges before sending the remaining balance to the payment details you provide.
Transfer-related charges
Bank, payment-provider, intermediary-bank, recipient-bank, currency-conversion or repeated-transfer charges may arise. Airdelay’s Terms state that only charges that actually arise may be deducted and Airdelay does not add a separate markup to them.
